Terms of Service
1. Introduction
These terms and conditions (“Terms”) apply when you use the services of Rain Removals (“we”, “us”, “our”), including house clearance, rubbish removal and related services in Greater Manchester and the areas we serve. By requesting a quote, booking a job or using our services you agree to these Terms.
2. Our services
We provide house clearance, waste removal and clearance-related services as described on our website and in any quote or agreement we give you. Services are subject to availability and we reserve the right to decline or amend a booking where necessary (e.g. for safety or legal reasons).
3. Quotes and payment
Quotes are based on the information you provide and the scope of work described. We may revise the quote if the job differs materially on the day (e.g. more items or different access). Payment terms will be as agreed (e.g. on completion, or as set out in the quote). We accept the payment methods we specify at the time of booking.
4. Your responsibilities
You must ensure we have safe and adequate access to the property, that you have authority to instruct clearance of the items concerned, and that you have disclosed any hazardous materials, valuable items or special requirements. You are responsible for securing or removing anything you do not wish us to take.
5. Cancellation and changes
If you need to cancel or reschedule, please tell us as soon as possible. We may charge a cancellation fee if we have reserved time and incurred cost. We will try to accommodate changes where we can; any change to the agreed price or scope will be confirmed in advance.
6. Liability
We carry out our work with reasonable skill and care. We are not liable for loss or damage that could not reasonably have been foreseen, or that is due to matters outside our control (e.g. your instructions, access issues, or pre-existing damage). Our liability to you is limited to the amount you have paid us for the relevant job, except where law does not allow us to limit liability (e.g. death or personal injury caused by our negligence).
7. Waste and disposal
We dispose of waste in line with applicable regulations. Items we remove become our responsibility once loaded. We do not accept certain hazardous or prohibited materials; you must tell us in advance if you are unsure. We may refuse to remove items that require special handling or that we are not permitted to take.

9. General
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If any part of these Terms is found to be invalid, the rest remains in effect. We may update these Terms from time to time; the version on our website at the time of your booking applies. Our failure to enforce a right does not waive that right.
